CHARLOTTE, NC-- LOST DOG

Just adopted/rescued this very scared German Shepherd/Collie X Female approx 1-2 YO. She does not know my area yet. She was being walked on Essex Fells Drive Charlotte, NC 28277 with same leash shown in picture. She still has leash on unless was able to get it off.

When something spooked her and she bolted. My husband lost grip on the leash. He was walking her in snow storm and had gloves on and just lost grip. He tried to chase her and we are just beyond devastated and sad. Begging for help to find this sweet girl she has been through enough in her young life.

Please share/tag and keep your eyes open. We named her Lacey but she does not know her name yet and she is beyond scared/shy girl.

Lost and found signs are up but I know our best shot is through everyone helping and looking. Please contact me immediately if you have seen her or praying maybe someone brought her inside .
****UPDATE**** Lacey continues to be spotted around the Ballantyne area! Please be on the lookout for her and call Jen show contact info or Lori at show contact info ASAP if you see her!!! Please do not chase or approach her. If it is possible to coax her into a fenced in area, that is going to be our best chance at catching her!

Lacey is still missing!! She is frequently seen all around the Ballantyne area. She is very timid and runs when approached. If you see her, please do not approach her!!! Sitting down and talking softly to her or whimpering will bring a better chance for her to come to you. Luring her into a fenced in area with another dog or food would be ideal. Please call Jen show contact info or Lori at show contact info ASAP if spotted and we will get there as soon as possible with good food in hopes of catching her! She has been on the loose for almost 2 months now! Any help with getting the word out or handing out flyers would be greatly appreciated also, as she is traveling a very large area.
Thanks so much for any help! We want Lacey home!!
